The mothers' face says so much and I feel for her. This doctor seems like a lifesaver and such a calming presence that so many parents' need.

This makes me so sad for this little girl. I’m the single Uncle with no children but I thoroughly enjoy seeing the babies in our extended family. Thankfully we have only happy always smiling babies in the family.

I feel for this mom. It was a rough couple of months for us too.

My son was this way. Sometimes I had to leave him in his crib for fifteen minutes so that I could go scream in my room and get all my pent up frustration and anxiety out. It is SO hard to be a parent of an infant who cries ALL DAY AND NIGHT LONG. He is absolutely amazing now, but I can't look at newborns without feeling a little sick to my stomach.

My daughter was also like this and I was a first time mum. Every 2 hours she was having a feed and it would take a hour to have her feed. We were like that for 2 months. It was hard work. She is now 22 years old now.

I can relate.... My son was like this but in all fairness he had a salmonella abscess on his Only thing that presented finally was a fever. He is the only one to have lived from this in the entire world. Thank God for the Stollery! He is 12 now and perfectly normal

Oh my heart hurts for this sweet baby and her mommy. I wish I lived near you! Having had six kids myself, I’m a bit of an expert when it comes to soothing an overtired, hungry but in terrible pain baby. I’d gladly give you a break anytime you needed it.I have 9 grands now, too, so that’s a total of 15 precious souls I’ve had the privilege of helping to care for.

My baby is 3 weeks old and we get worried when he cried for over a minute. I can't imagine dealing with constant crying. I hope the mum found a solution.

My granddaughter screamed for the first month of life, after bringing her to the chiropractor, turned out she had a pinched nerve from birth and could only breath while screaming. After her spine was adjusted, she stopped crying and slept for the first time. How many SIDs babies could be caused by birth injuries?

I'm so glad I was born to be a mom. I was babysitting when I was eight, an aunt when I was twelve who took care of my newborn niece during graveyard shifts, lived with my brothers' family for a summer when I was thirteen to care for my 3-6 month old nephew, then had my own five children within 8 years without ever losing my ability to have compassion and comfort for these little ones.

When my infant was struggling with breastmilk I was always giving her gas relief drops and pumping her legs amd laying her across my arms for comfort. She had a lot of gas and once it stopped she slept so little it was aggravating.. I had to "take a walk". Poor mom I hope it got better and you two are able to sleep!

I was a nanny for a year and the baby cried constantly. He was absolutely inconsolable all day long. Your advice for putting the baby down for a few minutes (in safe place like his crib or somewhere) and walking away is a GOLD. That saved my sanity. I literally walked into the other room and cried, screamed, and sometimes called a friend to calm me down. It was summer time and they had no AC so the windows were open. I was quite sure someone was going to call CPS on me. It was horrid. The parents begged me not to quit and I didn't but I hope he felt better after that.

My eldest nephew was in a lot of pain with colic. His dad and grandma were about the only ones who could settle him down. Turned out he had allergies to egg and dairy, so a change in diet helped.
