There is already a LOT of future priced into Nvidia. Competitors will have their own chips anytime soon. Hardware isn't the real thing. Because what's happening is LLM/AI experts are headhunted and like captured from streets in broad daylight. Once again software is the key.

It's gonna return to $500 ish, this is a one time deal. Right now, nobody has a framework as mature as CUDA, it just works, since nVidia's been developing for years. Jensen tried and failed to cornered the market by purchasing ARM so everybody HAVE to pay nvidia if they are going to develope their own Ai ASIC chip. But make no mistake, ALL big players Google, Amazon, Apple, Tencent, Alibaba, Microsoft, Meta.... are developing their own ASIC and framework, it's just they are not mature enough for prime time, and loosing at starting point on Ai has a compouding effect so they are compromising by buying nVidia H100s. But its kind of one time deal, first the mark up for H100 is just extremely high is the same silicon they sell for the 4000x series and a 4090 sells for $2.4k while the H100 for $20k the only difference is the higher bandwidth and bigger cap in vram (GDDR6 vs HBM) which cost like 100 bucks tops for the 100Gb... Plus is pure logic, think about it if you are one of those big players CEO... do you want to have a third party to control your core business while having the resource to develope yourself and maintaining 100% control and 10x cheaper?
Bought it at Nov at 460 and sold it at 930
