Simone is in a league of her own. Barring a total meltdown, the Gold is hers to lose. Andrade should be safe for Silver - if she hits everything, there's no-one else who could realistically challenge her.

The battle for Bronze should be an interesting battle. Based on past results, Shilese Jones is the favourite on paper, but there are many others who could challenge her if they hit 4/4. Qiu (shown here), MDJDS from France, D'Amato and Esposito from Italy, Ellie Black from Canada, Kaylia Neymour from Algeria, Flavia from Brazil etc... It's going to be a bloodbath!

4:50 mind you this routine was underscored too. 8.0 execution is v underscored when Simone, Rebeca, and Shilese are scoring 8.3, 8.3, and 8.2 in execution, respectively. If Qiu Qiyuan gets a DTY then I think she could snatch bronze if she was perfect on all 4 events
