Randy, great info. I tried some larger tube baits in green pumpkin and brown last summer for bass and had some luck. They’ve been around a long time but I think they work pretty well because a lot of people don’t fish them. Thanks for the video!

I like the little jig heads for tube jigs with live shrimp and 6 lb test in the saltwater. I hook them through the chin and the hook point rides just above their horn. The hook is almost invisible like that. As long as there's no structure around you can catch 40" snook and other big fish like that.

I tear it up at the creek using those small tubes. They do catch everything (bass, sunfish, fallfish, chub, etc.).

I have had great luck with Red & White Mini Tub Jigs. When I clip it onto a Small Beetle Spin it’s like a Pike Magnet. They attack the heck out of it. Have extra Beetle Spins in your tackle box because the Pike if they are 24” inches or bigger will bend the heck out of them. It drives them nuts. I caught my PB 23” LM Bass on. Red & White Mini Tub Jig. With Thousands of Dollars in my boat in fishing tackle a Red & White Mini Tub Jig is Hands Down the most effective lure I own.

Sometimes I use the smallest Road Runner Jig Head with that tiny spinner on the bottom. Just go over the weeds reeling slowly with a gentle twitch. Very effective for any fish. Trust me you will be amazed at what it will catch.

Yeah I can testify to this. I have a small box of different colors and even catch couple pound bass on them too.

It would help to mention that gold hooks on the jigs mean they’re easier to straighten out and bend back.

I love the 2” tubs for bass and white perch fishing just throw it and let it pendulum back to you

I find crappie the most entertaining fish to catch. I have to float fish from the bank. Crappie here like to swim with bait in their mouth so your float looks like a shark 😂 I’m gonna try theses tubes. 50 cents for one gulp 1” minnow that sneaky bluegills like to steal or bite in half is expensive if you fish nearly everyday.

Teaser or Double Non- Staggered jig heads work best with crappie tubes. They hold the tube bait on without slippage …You can catch fish on the style jig head Randy showed, but you will waste a bunch of tubes.

This also works amazing for Yellow Perch in my area in winter. They were destroying it.
