Those five Fairfield Four guys are amazing. And that's why they're amazing, names dont count. Harmony does. They are the backbone of this song and I find them to be quite pleasing to the ear.

I have worked in that heat, in the Arizona and Fresno. I wasn't in jail, but it was 110 or more in the shade. I dug all day in that Central Valley bottom land, and gotten nowhere. This is my favorite John Fogerty song. Brings back memories.

Mr. Fogerty wrote this song after he visited Robert Johnsons grave. This song spoke right to my soul the from the moment I heard the first couple of notes in the opening guitar lick, even before I heard why he wrote this piece.
