Shiva doesn't have a bad temper.
He is very calm and has a very calm mind.
But when he gets angry no one can stop him.

The destroying is of the ego, self realization.
The purest realization of our soul.

The true perspective.
Of the truth.

India's culture is so romantic with these kinds of stories. They make me get so emotional. Other religions don't speak this way about people are Gods. Except maybe Egyptians. I am truly entertained why would I have just seen thank you very much

Shiva is Adiyogi. He is the creator of yoga and meditative asanas.

As a fan of the elder scrolls, I didn’t realize how much inspiration they took for OVERALL concepts within the game, not even just a specific culture. The whole idea of the world having cycles and being destroyed by one specific deity was an idea prevalent throughout the lore, and even the main plot point of the most famous of the series, Skyrim. Shout out to the Hindus for having such an interesting and nuanced religion.

@2:47 He is never depicted as evil. As far as I know, he is never depicted as evil. Wearing snakes, living in cemeteries and being friends with goblins are not necessarily evil. He also lives in the lofty Himalayas, He also adorns himself with moon and luxurious kanaka jewel and other golden ornaments. He is also friends with highest Gods and is deeply respected by them. Mixture of opposites. He is neither bad nor good. Neither friend nor foe. He is the representation of attributeless Brahman. When he takes on attributes he takes on the form to protect Dharma. So he is the source of morality. As you say he does good to the good and punishes the bad. Shiva is indeed much more complex.
Apart from that the video is great. Appreciate the effort.

Shiva is not the god of destruction. He is the destroyer. There is a difference. Suria, the sun god, is the god of destruction. There is a difference. Shiva is a righteous teacher to all beings and not malevolent with any form of wickedness. His destroying aspect is understood as an end to living things. The death phase of animate and inanimate forms of creation. He is not to be feared but thanked because without his righteous principles, the circle of life would be corrupted.

It was my 3rd experience with DMT which introduced me to Shiva's energy. I understood right there that without destruction (change) life becomes stagnant and terrifying. I was trapped in a metaphysical loop where I could not escape predictability so I "became" shiva in a sense to end my suffering. The tv was broken, smashed plates littered the room and the Christmas tree lay dismantled.. But I accomplished my goal in that headspace and learned the valuable life lesson that we need to love and embrace chaos because that is what saves us from ourselves. Thank you for reading, love you all! Bless ❤️

"Try to understand,
I am everything, when I am within you (soul). But everything becomes nothing when I leave you."
The meaning of ShivaShakti
shi-start from va-ended in (soul) shakti-Energy
AUM NAMHA SHIVAY
1. Third eye means He knows everything, master of knowledge and also even if he closed his eyes still everything is in front of him, when he stopped watching this universe it will happened only when this universe comes at its end i.e. namely Trilochana.
(विद्यातिर्थम् महेश्वरम् )

2. Moon on head means he is
beyond time i.e. mahakaal ( when prajapati Daksh cursed moon that it will be depreciated (kshay) so by attaching moon by lord Shiva with himself save the moon. Don't forgot that Shiva is formless but one can see him in idle form that I have explained in my whole comment. Well how Shiva is formless just see his meditation form where Shiva with closed eyes means he try to tell everybody that he is eternal and that's how he is in everyone and everywhere. Shakti (energy) is itself creation and it's expanding nature shows that Shiva (soul) is present within it.

3. Damaru in hand means lord of
music and creator of first sound AUM ॐ i.e. Nataraja
( नादअधिनम् जगत सर्वम् & i.e. ॐ )
4. Snake necklace shows master of yoga, kundalini shakti and negative energy too. Also the one who tackle his ego will become his energy i.e. Aadiyogi

5. Three lines on fore head and tridem shows master of three world or god of God's i.e. Vishweshwar or Mahadev

6. Bhasm or ashes on body shows end result of every individuals body
This is also the law of nature the one who take birth must die i.e. Aghorshiva

7. Bhootnath i.e. controller of five ingredients in the formation of this body so only he has ability to make any dead thing alive.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
Ardhanarishwara i.e. shivashakti swaroop shows everything starts from it represented by Shivalinga.
Just search on Google Ardhanarishwara you will get a picture.

Most people says that he is high on marijuana. But they forgot that, he drink poison also.
He loves everything which belongs to nature (prakruti) because he is the ultimate soul (purusha) of this
universe.
I tried to described a little bit of him. Hop this will help you.
Like this there are 108 names of Shiva each has a meaning and shows him as a supreme.

शिवा (आत्मा): हर आरंभका मेहि अंत हूँ| हर अंत सदैव मेराही आरंभ होगा.

I love how Elder Scrolls got so much inspiration from Hinduism. I'm not religious but Hinduism is by far my favourite religion due to all these expensive lore

Have always wondered about Shiva, he always fascinated me for some reason. Wow, the balance is also very fascinating to me. Thank you for this!

The word "shiva" literally means "benevolent." He's the embodiment of bliss. He is the uncreated. He is the peak and the valley, the Alpha and the Omega. Shiva is God.
