if you are still running this rig you should move a couple ram sticks over to the second set of dims over the other processor.

Very nice setup with huge cpu power. But why is there only 1 sata disk? i think this machine deserves a nice ssd drive! and your main disk as storage. Thanx for the cool video's of the build.

Yes an SSD would be a welcomed addition but also quite expensive. Maybe in the future, it was not that much of a priority as the computer will always be on also.

@rupert8719 I am not cooling the GPU. But you could set it up that way. I can add the GPU block on the video and just add it in series to the 2 CPU blocks. However i wouldn't recommend that for this unit because its struggling already to cool just my CPUs. If you have a set up where you only have 1 CPU then you can cool that and your GPU with this unit and it should be plenty fine. But any GPU cooling block would have to purchased separately for the specific video card that you have.

@TheDiRTGrime the whole system cost about $3300 but that's because i got pretty much all of the parts on black Friday/cyber Monday. So the real value value without all of the discounts is probably around $3700-3800.

Well we are using it for music and video production mainly.

I have built many a Editing Workstation for Video/Film/Audio.
I agree with most that intel CPUs are the best.
However they want three times the amount of money then AMD does.
I use mostly Opteron AMD CPUs for the builds I make.
I have down Dual mod Systems and Quad Mod systems.
AMD server processors are really great and work just as good as any intel.
I built a dual processors system to a couple months ago and it came to:
$2200.00 with 2 8 core CPUs.
So buy smart and save.

hey love this pc rigg but your liquid cooling you put it in the drive bays right with the controller fan unit and the the dvd drive all in one or how and the liquid cooling can that cool both the cpu and gpu at the same time or ?
