Much appreciated. Although there is definitely room for improvement. As pointed out elsewhere, e.preventDefault() is obsolete, when already @event.prevent. And the onFileSelect and onDrop make the same modification, once the list of files is created. So it would be better to create an addImages method, where you pass the lists found in both. If anything changes, you don't need to make the changes twice.

Why do you use prevent modificator and prevent default in the methods?? It is the same
