This is an extention of Howard Shore's beautiful piece 'Feast of Starlight'. This version consists of a double phase in which the singer sings beautifully and is merged with the first half of 'Beyond the Forest' in continuation with the theme. Enjoy! :)

I love the Hobbit trilogy, but even those who don't like it have gotta admit they love the music.

LOTR and The Hobbit soundtracks have some of the best music out there.

Howard Shore is as essential to Middle Earth as John Williams is to a Galaxy far, far away.

God bless J.R.R Tolkien, with his hands and his imaginary and unexpected journey he created in his works, he gave us this amazing and one of the best fantasy novel.

The lyrics provided are just the Sindarin lyrics. The song is actually a mix between Sindarin and Khuzdul, like a conversation between Kili and Tauriel. Like the instruments used, there's duality in the lyrics as well. Here's most of the lyrics that also continues beyond 2:41 (S is Sindarin, K is Khuzdul)

S: Hae ephadron/ theri thaur
I go walking/beyond the forest

K: Îmri zaiza
Take me with you

S: Am na dhû ias fir i ambar
Up into the night/ Where the world falls away

K or S: something OR

S: A trehil i 'alad 'lân uir tri 'wilith"
As the white light of forever fills the air

K: Ankakizi ni adâlimê/ ak tathyariya
I see you, in my dreams/ but you are far away

K: Kûr yamsi/ tân yamarsi biye
Where go-you/ when you depart from me?

The last two lines are repeated in certain bits like "Ankakizi ni adâlimê" is sung twice and so on.

I don't think there's a word more beautiful than starlight.

It's actually hard to breathe when I hear this song because of how deeply it hits me. The second film and the introduction of this song really forged my love for kili/tauriel. During the last movie, I didn't feel the same connection and their end didn't effect me as much as I thought it would. Coming back and watching scenes from the second film then hearing this song man, I'm wrecked and crying so much it hurts. It's amazing how much a part of storytelling music is. This is so beautiful. Probably the most beautiful song in all the movies and I don't say that lightly.

I live for this... I have literally waited ten years for more singing elves...
Worth it. Absolutely  worth it.

My Mom just died and this is the only song I could think of...
You cannot be her. She is far away. She... she is far, far away from me. She walks in starlight in another world. It was just a dream. Do you think she could have loved me?

1:25 is magic. Takes you back in time... to the first time you saw the movie. To me, its memories and nostalgia. Middle-earth wouldn't be what it is without Howard Shore. Only he can bring this Middle-earthish feeling to Middle-earth.

1:25
"By the starlit mere of Cuiviénen, Water of Awakening, the Elves rose from the sleep of Ilúvatar; and while they dwelt yet silent by Cuiviénen their eyes beheld first of all things the stars of heaven. Therefore they have ever loved the starlight, and have revered Varda Elentári above all the Valar."

This song plays a lot in the LEGO Hobbit, sort of like ambient music when nothing's going on. I like it :D
