My dad is 2nd generation Italian. I got this recipe from his mother, who got it from his father's cousin, Emma Cugini. It is a recipe from the Northern Italy region. Note! This is not considered a "safe" method of canning, however, I've made the Antipasto this way for years and have never had an issue... Follow at your own risk.

My grandparents' family is from northern Italy and they passed down this recipe to us. It's so fun to see that other people make it, too! We put out a jar at every holiday.

Similar to my moms recipe. She never used pickling spice in her recipe or process canned them either. No one I know ever got sick.
Makes me want to make a batch lol

twila here I have ben looking for this type of recipe my Nona made this when we were kids and the recipe has been lost since Nona passed we probly ate our weight in this we loved it my Nona was was also from Northern Italy.
