oh! What a blast from the past! The last time I was in that home was in the 1970s. The original silk carpet was in the sun-room previously and I am happy they saved it. The carpet - mega heavy - was placed in the sun-room by crane, then the windows were installed and finished. What a treat to see the original tiles uncovered! I remember hand-painted beams but the hand-painted ceilings and baccarat chandeliers are additions. Quality restoration and a blessing it was saved!
