I really like your way of explaining, it's very matter of fact. I'm a complete beginner basically, I don't know how you make it so understandable without spending 30 minutes on anologies. Please keep this series going!

The current throug 5ohms divides to 2 and 3, so its not the same, 5 is in series with 2 || 3
