Few years ago CAS came to NYC and I watched them from the second row. I threw a rose at them that I held in my hand during all my favorite songs (literally all of them). At first I thought it was fated to remain on the floor of the stage. However, at the end Greg Gonzalez (the vocalis) lifted, hugged it and as he went bowing away to backstage, the rose went with him. That day I cried from the joy of being seen and connecting to the voice, presence of folks that may not know me but have always made me feel seen through their music and this important gesture. Thank you CAS, you've saved my heart from drowning, frowning innumerable times. <3
