I have to wonder why this is coming out now, after like 5 months of channel silence. Maybe hinting at an update coming soon?

When this is fully matured, the world will be such a different place.
I just hope I'll be around to experience it.

If this comes far enough, full dive VR would be possible, I think.

I can’t wait for the day a blind person sees for the first time, or a paralyzed person walks again.

You all ROCK!! Thank you for this glimmer of hope in the darkness. You even mentioned restoring limb usage - exactly what I need! 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
I would LOVE to regain full use of my hands & arms once more 💞💞💞
Thank you for the hope🙏

That first guy in the blue shirt definitely already has the neuralink... his voice gave him away.

What about the microglial response from tissue scaring and microinfarcts from insertion, is that been dealt with?

Imagine after installing it you start hearing voices in your head and seeing popups asking you to renew your subscription.

Some day I wanna work on a project like that. Though what I'd like to do specifically is work on the problem of brain digitization. I'm not a neuroscientist though (studying computer science currently). But my theory on how brain digitization would work is basically just replace one neuron at a time with a biomimetic neuron, and then replace all the neighbours to that neuron with biomimetic neurons before replacing the initial biomimetic neuron with a software neuron in an artificial neural network (basically use the biomimetic neurons to make a direct neuron to computer interface). I think doing it this way is probably the only way to digitize the mind of an individual without making a copy. Basically, replace the hardware (the brain) that the software (the mind) is running on, without ever disrupting the process (or with minor, recoverable disruptions), so that you don't create a new instance of the "software".

I know NeuraLink isn't about brain digitization, but you'd need to go about brain digitization in a similar way (using a robot to physically swap out organic neurons with synthetic neurons and such, as opposed to using it to precisely implant wires). I imagine that may be a future "next step" for this technology. I hope I can be a part of making it happen some day, but if not, then I hope it'll happen within my lifetime (I wanna be a robot fox :p).

Very amazing, can't wait to see the next 10 years of this technology.

Great video! Wish it was happening faster to help my Mom who has dementia, who use to be a brilliant autistic teacher with two master's degrees. Maybe it will be able to keep me from forgetting who my children are when the time comes.
To ALL, keep up the great work!!
