This award gives recognition to a British ready-to-wear designer who has been instrumental in leading men's fashion in the past year.

Nominees for this category were: Craig Green for Craig Green, Grace Wales Bonner for Wales Bonner, Jonathan Anderson for J.W. Anderson, Tom Ford for Tom Ford, and Dame Vivienne Westwood for Vivienne Westwood.

The Fashion Awards 2016 in partnership with Swarovski were held at the iconic Royal Albert Hall on Monday 5th December 2016 and celebrated the best of British and international talent from the global fashion community.
