Hi I am a senior golfer of 74

I now have the most body friendly, repeatable and accurate golf swing I have ever experienced in my 40 years of playing golf.

How and why it works is exactly what I think this video is all about

I actively use my alternating feet only once pressing against the grounds. Another words my two swing thoughts are Leftpress/Rightpress. Done!

Please allow me to explain

To my way of thinking the golf swing is not a horizontal swing.

The golf swing it if not a vertical swing up and down swing

But in reality thé golf swing is a diagonal swing.

Thé golf swing is what Mike Austin called his elusive compound pivot movements; the shifting and turning of the golfers hips as one solid movements. The Golf Swing Is a continuous diagonal movement that crosses over the swing circle center of our body known as our opposing obliques muscles groups. The golf swing is a pendulum going’s Tick/ Tock

Or i could say: For the backswing when i kick the ground with my lead foot the ground kicks me back with my trail foot This causes the ground action/reaction force of Sir Issac Newton 3rd law: for every action their is an equal and opposite reaction; the torque of which automatically pivots my body back and forth as I never felt in my golf swing before.

I think the Elvis Pelvis move is a good way to explore how the body works well with Ground Action/ Reaction Force at play whether we are dancing like him or standing on two spots on the ground swinging our club back and forth. Future videos of my actual swing to follow come spring

Thanks for reading.

Without a golf club. Do this easy dance move starting with your left foot followed by your right foot as you see Elvis rocking pivoting his body from side to side. Now step up to your ball and keep your feet at the same location as your intentions is one side walking movement.

So start your golf backswing by pressing your left foot to the ground followed with pressing your right foot to the ground to the finish of your swing. You will have used maximum GRF Ground Reaction Force on your golf swing with amazing results. More to come. Cheers 🥂 on the 19th ⛳️
