Edit: Lmao yall gonna hate me for this but my favourite character is Regulus now ;-;

Edit 2: OK so a lot of people don't seem to know who Regulus is, which I totally understand, he was hardly in the movies. So lemme explain who he is.

Regulus Arcturus Black was Sirius Black's younger brother. He, unlike Sirius, got sorted into Slytherin like the rest of his family. He became a death eaters at 16 and at the age of 17/18 Voldemort gave him an order. Voldemort wanted Regulus to arrange him a House Elf because he wanted to perform a task with it (he didn't tell Regulus what). Regulus chose Kreacher for the task. He ordered him to do what Voldemort tells him and then come back to him and tell him what he did. Voldemort took Kreacher to the cave where he was going to hide Slytherin's locket ( one of his horcruxes) and made the elf drink the torture potion thingy and left him to die in the cave with inferis. Kreacher, however, apparated back and told Regulus what happened.

Regulus was disgusted and finally realised how cruel Voldemort actually was. Regulus was actually the first one to figure out that Voldemort had horcruxes. He bought a fake copy of the locket and ordered Kreacher specifically to lead him to the cave, make him drink the potion, make sure that he takes the real locket and replaces it with the fake locket and then leave without him.

Regulus also told Kreacher not to tell anybody how he died as it could put his family in danger.

Regulus, as he expected, was pulled into the water by inferis and died in the cave, all alone.

He died knowing people won't know how he really died. He died knowing that people will think of him as a coward although they don't know the real story.

In my opinion, Regulus is amazing 😌
