Well… this very pretty ring was supposedly a synthetic Spinel and because she is the most stunning colour we have ever seen we decided to  acquired her.

However to our delight we discovered this ring is actually a stunningly faceted oval Uranium glass, which as you may know glows under UV light!

In the natural light we would describe this one as a cross between a blue/green Aquamarine and perhaps a light green Columbian emerald.. possibly the prettiest colour we have seen set into a ring!

Crafted from 9ct yellow gold, four claw set to a subtly detailed gallery and a thick half round shank.

She may be ‘only’ glass but when worn this one elicits gasps of admiration whenever she’s seen and is quite the talking point.

Probably dating to between the 1940’s to 1960’s, this incredibly pretty ring is too good not to share.

Please note that in photos this ring appears more green in tone than in natural light, can also appear a water blue green
