In Yoruba we also say ‘ONOGONLA’ it’s a composite word, broken down it would be -o ni ogo nla it means powerful one mighty one, most esteemed one most up right one it is also the root word of the word negro original, meaning of Negro esteemed ones, princes.

Some Bantu tribes here in Tz have the name Iruva or Iruwa, Ruwa for God, isin't it likely to Ruah hakhodesh for holy Spirit in Hebrew.
