The Lion King makes me feel old because it was released six months before my own birthday and I had never thought about how old it is. Also when my friend's children/nieces/nephews reach major milestones in their life and thinking back to what I had been doing around the time of their birth.

Seeing your neighbours get ready for their year 12 ball when you knew them since they were in year 2, Finding old toys and forgetting what games you used to play with them, having really vivid memories and realising just how long it's been since those events happened, and yes...definitely the Pokemon one!

Thank you for making me feel old! I miss my Tamagotchi.

Realising that Buffy is over 10 years old.
Thinking about how old the kids they had on Friends would be now.
The graphics on any game I ever loved and still love.
Every Tumblr post about 90s nostalgia ever.
And many many more, but I won't list them because the more I list the older I feel, and I'm not even all that old in the perspective of life-span.

Watching old Harry Potter films makes me feel old as well and I'm only 16 in July !
Busted are one of my favourite bands, I miss music like that.
I love all of those superhero models in the background !

Hearing that the original Game Boy is celebrating 25 years made me feel really old. (I still remember being glued to mine for my first year of secondary school!)

There are three things that I can think of at the top of my head, that makes me realise how much time has passed and how quickly it goes by (I feel weird saying it makes me feel old, because I'm 18 years old, which is not old at all).
The first thing is cell phones. I remember the first cell phone I got, and it was an old Sony Ericsson my dad and my mum had had before me, and I was really stoked about it, because OH MY GOD I COULD TAKE PICTURES AND HAD GAMES. And now, I basically have a small computer...
The second thing is computers. Now, my mum and dad work with computers and programming and stuff, so we had a computer at home. It was this big block of computer, with a really bad screen that would freeze and take for ever to start, but I felt very privileged, because none of my friends had a computer. And I didn't even use the internet with it, I just used paint, and minesweeper and sims :P
And the third thing is VHS tapes. We've still got a big box of VHS tapes with various disney/barbie and other films, and they are in really bad quality. But when I was young, they were the best! (I love how all my examples are about technology, as if it hasn't changed drastically, even in the last five years :P)
So, yeah, thats my long comment about change and how I not necessarily feel old, but rather petrified by how fast time goes O.O

I still have PS1's Spyro: Ripto's Rage, and that game will forever be one of my all-time favorites. Actually, I think I'll go play it right now and reminisce on the good ol' days.

When I was talking with a group of people (younger than me) and I mentioned the film "Matilda" and all I got were blank stares. I even described the film a bit, in case they didn't recognize the name, and still no one knew the film.
Or when the same thing happened with my favourite childhood film, "The Secret Garden", and no one was familiar with that film either :S

My brother didn't know what a vinyl was! He had no clue what tapes were either. I'm not even old and that made me feel old

What really makes me feel old and I know that this isn't a big thing or anything is that Lion King is turning 20 this year and I was born that same year as that movie came out! There are other things too but that is the most predominant in my brain at the moment. I miss my childhood!

I can't believe I had never noticed the "Troy and Abed in the Morning" (yes, I sung that) cup in your background! It has been there for ages, hasn't it?

Anyway, a couple of months ago my mother decided to put all of the books I used to read when I was little in my bedroom at my childhood home. When I went back for the Easter break I found them all just sitting there on the shelves and started taking them down one by one and looking at them. I felt so old and nostalgic...but that's what memories do to you I guess ;)

A teenager I know announced one day 'My Granny knows you'. Then I realised the person I thought was his granny was actually his great granny and he's a generation younger than I thought he was.
