TRANSFORMERS SCORPONOK Siyang Cultural Y-C002 Review

Transformers introduced the mighty Scorponok in 1986 and the Headmaster toy was released. While the name was shared with a Beast Wars character, many years later, the 1986 version was upgraded with a Titan Class figure. However, Siyang Cultural has now introduced the Y-C002, Base Fortress Haidelberg, a third-party Scorponok that is a great homage to both versions. Captain Kyle reviews it to see if this Decepticon Headmaster (or Titanmaster) base is right for you.

Scorponok, in the cartoon, was a behemoth of a Decepticon that matched the Autobot Fortress Maximus in height and power. However, the toy was much smaller than his foe’s figure, at least until the Titan class was introduced. This third-party version of Scorponok is a great homage to both the original and the new Titan. It comes with electronic lights, Fasttrack, Zarak, super miniature versions of Galvatron and Ultra Magnus, and more. Captain Kyle examines it thoroughly and demonstrates how to transform it as well.

Titan Scorponok and Black Zarak had poor distribution due to the pandemic. the DNA upgrade kit makes them even better. this Scorponok looks cool too. has lights and the Hasbro does have that. great review!!

Nice review. I think the leftover orange part is an extra missile for the stinger rocket launcher.

Mine arrived today and i am very happy. There are no QC Issues whatsoever. The Joints and the paintjob are great and everything tabs in nice and secure. Since the design is very G1 it looks great next to G1 Fort Max. I mean its still a little shorter than Fort Max, but they still look great together.

This is around £110 in pounds from AliExpress, so I'm tempted because it looks excellent. I have Titan Skorp all decked out in every upgrade available, even a tail, and yet, I still want this one too. I like the mix of Titan and G1 aspects.
I just bet that there will be scaled down DNA upgrades form this in no time.

The part about having to disassemble part of his face in order to fit the head inside the helmet is an odd design choice but other than that he looks pretty good, I do like how he has the repair bays and missile pods in city mode that the Titan version lacked

If I didn't already have the Earthrise with the DK-19 kit I'd be very tempted to grab this

I got Y-C001 but I skipped this guy. I never was the biggest fan of season 4 characters, except Fort Max. But overall this guy does look pretty on par, very nice toy. Great review!

How does the little headmaster compare to a normal Titan Master figure? Are they compatible?

Yeah at that price I'd rather just buy an original one.

The titans one reissue at big bad toystore is much bigger than this one and they are the same price of 200 both of them.

Hes a great figure but the shipping crazy on him so pass

The largest Scorponok who needs a viagra for his tail. WTF why? That alone makes it a pass, regardless of the figure size — why wouldn’t this be to scale? Just illogical.
