Great to see you back guys! A great episode. I was particularly interested in what Jamie was saying about Sherlock’s superb memory retrieve, why he missed the turn one way but not the other, was it sight, smell or the ‘magnetic magic’?!🤔

Welcome back looking forward to more episodes 😊. Often wondered how dogs have found their way across country but think I'm with Jamie here.. A bit sceptical about magnetic lines.. And if all dogs have this why are there so many lost dogs?

Brilliant episode 👍🙌
On the magnetism subject..if Dogs (amongst other species ) can sense earthquakes & tremors, maybe they could also feel the magnetism in their sensitive paws/pads?🤔 Our dog always acts out of character before a tremor etc & pants constantly along with pacing for a short while in front of our family, then when he appears to have let us know, he goes & lays down in his cage..

One of my dogs will constantly find me. Often starts at a different point to me with my husband and she finds me and has always found me even when I’ve continued walking. My other dog doesn’t bother, isn’t worried about losing me.

"Never in the early 80s/90s you wouldn't see your dog all day, but he would come home for tea" Maybe back in those days, dogs were exposed to less electromagnetic radiation than nowadays. Think about it, nowadays, dogs must almost always be exposed to artificial electromagnetic fields from all of our devices. Saying that, I believe that the major factor would be that they used to have a chance to really be dogs and learn to navigate the world by themselves.
