You’ve gotta laugh, there’s the Kinahans cornered with nowhere to go in Dubai and all there top guys in prison for big sentences and the pending big sentences, and there’s the monk, not guilty of murder, doing podcasts and running for election. I’d say that’s karma

I love the respect Nicola shows him, regardless of his reputation, not like other journalists who are out to make themselves look like heros and being blatantly ignorant, well done Nicola, your lifes work is evident!

I met him once in the course of my job. I had to send him away because he didn't have the right paperwork. He was a total gentleman about it.

I’m an Englishman with a fascination with Irish crime over the last 20 years and I love The Monk, everything I’ve seen and read about him he does seem like an ordinary criminal if you know what I mean, I reckon I could sit and have a pint with him and like the bloke.
He obviously loves where he comes from and would have more passion for Ireland than any of these MPs

I am truly astonished that Gerry agreed to this interview and has been so open about events. Good luck to him and have the utmost sympathy for him as I recently lost my youngest brother. It has devastated me and my family immensely. Rest In Peace Phil Kennedy, you'll ALWAYS be my little brother.

Isn't it about time the people started listening to what this man has to say about corrupt Ireland? The guards won't certainly listen, nor the politicians, but even in this brief 47 minutes he's clearly spotlighting the serious perversion of justice at play the length and breath of this land. The who's and the how's need to be rooted out urgently
