You have swiftly became one of my favorite youtubers. I love all of the perspectives that you bring into everyday life in Japan. I'm not sure if you have already done a video on it. But do you have any insight as how you got your job in Japan? Did you apply from overseas to go work?

Alyssa has great taste in bucket hats. She will fit in well if she ever decides to move to Manchester in the UK (people from Manchester love their bucket hats)

Bonsai would be very interesting. In my hands dead in a week. It would be fun to see what you can do with it.

Starbucks (JP) had amazing donuts back around 2015. Especially paired with their bitter black drip coffee. Unsure if quality is still good. Best 長時間カフェ勉強 combi.

6:59 I would say a shot in the dark is probably the _most_ appropriate thing to do at a coffee festival 😁. Really liked both your guys' outfits and the cozyness of the lunch shot under the canopy. Your artist friend's pixel art is fantastic. I'll say a prayer to the pokemon card gods and to your wallet.

I'm living in France and yes the only frozen food I buy is in Picard, they are the staple of frozen food here as the quality is so good for the price.
Their best products are by far the bags of frozen vegetables, like for example all the mushroom ones Alyssa took.

For the record the croissant looked very good! Maybe just a bit overcooked on top and bottom, but thats just being nitpicky :)

Are there always a coffee festival on your day off? I’m jealous! And always a good video with Lyssa in it!

You need Alyssa to dress up as a mushroom in the next video, although she might just turn into one after eating all of those that she bought!

This was fun. Can you tour an organic market/supermarket? You might find some new tasty things to buy.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Sarah, thanks for the chilled video! Yes, would love to see you do a bonsai workshop 🙏I met my partner in Japan 17 years ago as he was studying bonsai there for 5 years under a master in Shizuoka. Now, that is his profession in Europe.

Re: Bonsai workshop - would absolutely do that. I got a bit into that theme during the recent plague outbreak. The fact a couple older trees have been inherited through multiple generations and the ways you can shape nature are always fascinating. What really surprised me was that it's not only a hobby for ossan-type old men apparently. There's also actually a lot of younger and foreign people doing bonsai - the most out there thing I found was this heavily-tattooed dude you'd think was an organized crime goon if you met him in the street, doing a high fashion-like approach. Think his nursery is called Tradman's Bonsai. Still not convinced the bonsai rental thing they do is not just a front for a racketeering scheme, though. There's also the accent plants in cute pots thing (Kusamono or something?) to go with Bonsai and other cool stuff.
