This seriously makes me miss early 2000's yugioh and playing with the other kids at school and our local video store.
Growing up sucks 😥

Everything about these packs reminds me of the first time I walked into Toys R Us as a child in 2002 and the first thing you saw was the entire stand loaded with Legend of Blue Eyes, Metal Raiders blisters, Starter deck Yugi and Kaiba, and everything else worth tons of money nowadays. I know at those times I didn’t understand what UR or Secret rares were, just shiny, but I know I’ve had 1st Edition Exodia pieces, and some of the other great UR’s that I wish I knew what happened to, or took care of. Thank you Roman for opening things like this even knowing just how much these things are worth sealed! This is why your channel is the BEST!

Since Corona makes me stay at home, I've started to play this again with my sis.
We've got a lot of first editions of yugioh cards, some are in good condition and some are unluckily damaged... Having the golden holograph, shiny titles and so on.
I still keep them, they contain my childhood memories... Man it used to be simple and classic

I hate how complicated the series got after the original Yugioh show, and I miss these old school cards, man I'm going to have to bring out my cards again, lol. You got a sub from me!

This is almost like, therapeutic and a combination of asmr. It's so calm and also so nostalgic. I love these type of videos.

The artwork of the cards back then will never be rivaled by the ones of this day.

YU-GI-OH was the shit back in the day. I remember 7 eleven used to sell them. I still remember the smell when you first buy them. So nostalgic

Someone needs to make a video compilation of every pack Roman has sniffed on camera.

Metal Raiders will always be my favorite booster pack of all time. The art and colors just look so good, and seeing that old Konami logo on it took me all the way back to 2002. I remember begging my parents and grandparents to buy those packs for me at Walmart, and I always seemed to pull Robbin’ Goblin lol.

Been here since the beginning and remember being able to walk into stores and choose between these old packs when I had limited money. When I think of where the game is now and how many sets have been released, it's mindblowing.

Dark Crisis was my first pack. Everyone in my 6th grade class played Yugioh. The cool kids, the nerds. You would’ve thought Yugioh ended racism and brought world peace 😂😂 They even had a classroom dedicated to Yugioh on the last day of school back in 2005, it was so popular.
