In this video, we will cover how to solve a linear programming model in Desmos.

Script:
In this video, we will discuss how to use Desmos to solve a linear programming problem.

Once you navigate to the desmos template, type each constraint into the inequality sections as the following:
x plus six times y is less than or equal to 10
Four times x minus y is less than or equal to 5
X is greater than or equal to 0
Y is greater than or equal to 0

Click each point in the feasible region and hover over the point to obtain each coordinate and fill in the table at the bottom of the page with the points.

Replace the objective function here spot with the objective function three times x sub 1 plus four times y sub 1. This populates the values of the objective function at each point for the feasible region.

Since we want to maximize the objective function, choose the highest. In this case, the maximum is 10.4 at the point (1.6, 1.4).
