The days of just getting out of the bed and driving some place is pretty much history. You need reservations for just about everything.

We are on a trip now winging it from Maine to Texas. No trouble finding camping. Its all in how you look for sites.

Why do you park at a pump when you aren't getting gas and most of the pumps are full and plenty of parking in front of the store?

some places here in Missouri are booked up over a year in are cheap enough that they don't even show up or they cancel a day or two before their reservation.

I dont believe the Allsups family own it anymore but they started in the same general area where you like to hang out.
They are more like old school convivence stores in having a limited inventory. Main inventory is beer, snacks, and gas.
Some locations have some hot food if ya want some indigestion to go along with it.

Just found out that Starlink is selling the mini dish in Latin America for a third of what it costs here. And the monthly unlimited plan is less than the $50 limited plan we have here, $150 unlimited here. So pretty tempting to retire in Argentina with reliable internet.

Good late morning to all Rangers. Ranger Harley reporting for duty. Camping has definitely become more difficult. For you veterans out there, you might be eligible to stay on military bases at their Rec services. That makes it affordable for me to go to Florida for the winter. Check it out. Thank you Rusty.

Making reservations can be a big pain in the brain !! I read that the majority of RV owners are baby boomers! Thanks Rusty .🇺🇸😁

What is gasoline selling for in your area? I was surprised the country store on the way to town it selling for $2.99 per gallon for regular unleaded. I am looking forward to late October when it will be cool enough to finally go camping. Then again...I am a tent camper. Have a good day.
