No joke the counter is Warden's Mail. It might as well literally make him do negative damage. It reduces the damage by a flat amount AFTER his W cuts the damage down to around 33%. It really hard counters him.

I would add that at lvl 4 u can put another point into q or e since it doesn't delay ur w max at lvl 9 but helps more in the laning phase than a extra point in w.

What u have to master on urgot to get maximum dps. Is aa - > 3x W aa -> cancel w into normal aa. Since w resets aa timer and after the fixed 3 autos canceling it into a normal aa into reactivating w is a huge dps increase especially vs towers when u split push

That E Ult combo surprised me how it hides & cancel Ult1 Animation then he would suddenly guarantee the grinder's "get over here" after they flash away low h.p

There is an important mechanic where you let your maxed out w(at level 9) shoot 3 times, then cancel it to auto attack and repeat. This simple mechanic makes his dps 1.5stronger!

Other ult counters include qss (you'll still get dragged towards him), GA, gp orange while being dragged, other unstoppable ults like Malphite's, Sion's, or Sett's. Yasuo windwall and fiora parry at the the start of the ult drag. Other ults like tryndamere's(while being grinded), kayle's (use on self to avoid burst or teammate), or kindred (use it at the start of the grinding IF you're not the target otherwise he just moves away from the zone)

If you're tanky you can also screen for your teammates by dashing or flashing to block your low health teammate if he tries to do his flash e combo, as his w will target the last enemy hit by any of his abilities.

You forgot a very crucial step on his combos: Flash Mastery after every outplay.

Some more urgot things to know.

Didnt think abt E being able to mask ult animation too tho, nice.

R+w also masks the ult animation pretty nicely

W activation and deactivation both procs sheen

E flash can be done in a couple ways, e goes to where ur cursor is not where the direction it is pointed at so u cud do some fun stuff with it like flashing sideways to avoid a body blocker and still catch the real target or u can also e flash backwards to catch the enemy behind u by surprise while ur supposedly running away. U can even point the cursor literally in front of urgot and e flash forward but urgot will still e towards where ur cursor was last pointed at so u can redirect the flip angle to the enemy didnt expect.

Personally put 2nd q at lvl 4 so the q dmg is actually not useless for extra poke with q auto tap and the mana cost for using it wud be more worth it.

If u E dash right before the r execute animation the execute animation is delayed until ur e animation is done. Wud be abit more useful for those fighting tryndamere or those who running away like an ulted sion ult and that 0.5s difference made then stop ult but ur ult was actually not done yet.

Phase rush is such a QoL on urgot's mobility issue not only that it wud also allow u to circle an enemy much much faster or disengage quickly if u messed up ur E

I just learned so much from this video. Thankyou for helping my Urgot game...just sad that he's so unviable early game when anyone who's ever fought an Urgot will just buy armor and tank your pitiful attacks and poke out of lane

Idk about late game, Urgot can become pretty tanky while remaining threatening through his % health damage and passive execute. Depends on ennemy comp I guess.
