Ventrac Heated Cab Walk-Around

Stay warm and dry during snow removal or inclement weather with the Ventrac Winter Cab.
In this walk-around, we show the features of the Heated Cab for the Ventrac 4520 tractor.

Designed to fit the Ventrac 4520 & 4500 tractors, the KW452 Cab offers exceptional visibility while providing the operator with protection and comfort in any weather conditions.

For visibility during a snowstorm, the cab is equipped with hazards, front & rear work lights and intermittent windshield wiper function. Visibility is increased with mirrors on both sides for seeing directly behind you. Mirrors fold in for maneuvering through tight areas. A replaceable cabin air filter is also a feature for an improved operating experience.

All of the doors are constructed with glass panels for durable and clear visibility year-round. The cab is fitted on the outside of the ROPS for continued rollover protection. And access to the fuel tank is still exterior. This cab features the optional headrest kit and 4 point harness for operator comfort and safety.

The cab is heated by way of the coolant lines on liquid-cooled tractors. The inside of the cab is fairly roomy, with plenty of headroom clearance for an average-sized operator. The KW452 Cab controls are conveniently located on the ceiling, above the operator, and include a dual-port USB port for charging devices. The control panel is also equipped with an interior light for nighttime visibility.

Keep your operators happy and productive this winter season. They'll stay out of the elements and enjoy taking on winter's wrath in the comfort of a heated cab.

I am really glad you did a fully detailed video on the cab. For anybody spending lots of time out in the elements in the winter this is one option that really pays off. The cab is on my list of things to get someday. I have sat on tractors at the dealer with cabs on them, And they are really nice units.

I don’t know anything about snow removal or mechanics. I watch your videos because of Aron’s presentation style and I support made in America products. Please don’t change and keep on truckin ..!

When will it be A/C too? And compatible with all attachments? Another thing I would REALLY like to see is a three stage blower instead of just a two stage.

Is the new canopy the same part as the cab headliner on the 4520 models? I'd like that downdraft fan from the new canopy on a cab for ventilation in the hot weather since A/C is an HP thief and I doubt the built-in fan for the heater is strong enough to get the desired effect (correct me if I'm wrong). Can I add the downdraft fan to a closed cab (it's not listed as a separate option)? The cab is listed as 385 lbs., what is the weight of the new canopy (it's not listed that I could find)? Also, with the cab, the maximum hill angle is listed as 10 degrees, with or without dual wheels. If the glass is removed from the cab, and dual wheels are used, does this max angle increase? Is the max angle of the ventrac 4520 series with a canopy less than without it? I'd love to get a Ventrac 4520z to handle my 10 acres of hills (some 30 degrees), as well as have a heated cab for the winter for snowblowing, but I definitely don't want to remove the cab every spring at my age (60). I don't mind changing from dual to single wheels at all.

Great video Ventrac, once you put the cab on can you take it off for summer?

The cab is pretty awesome and I've contemplated countless times in getting one. How much does the cab affect the slope rating?

You did not mention A/C for summer time use? Do operators typically keep the enclosed cab on year round in the New England Market area?

Hot air blowing from the top? No hot air on my foot level?

We’ve debated even just running the cab on our range when doing winter maintenance. Such as clearing fallen trees.

How do you install the cab, and is it easy to remove for summer? I have never seen any of these machines in the Calgary area; there are dealers, but they do not even advertise the Ventrac on their web pages. This unit would be idea for landscaping and various utility jobs in the Okotoks area.

What kind of trailer are you using to pull these? How much do they weigh?

Hi was wondering if the Ventrac KW452 Cab KW452-AB01393 will fit on a 4520Y?

If those outside mirrors aren't heated they'd be pretty useless quick in a snowstorm. It should have at least one inside rearview mirror. I plow up in Maine.

The lack of a permanent cab model and Bluetooth/fm/usb radio makes this machine outdated which is unfortunate given the versatility of use it has. Need a sealed cab and air conditioning to make it more feasible and some kind of audio device.

For anyone reading this more recent. I recently purchased a 4231 with their old style cab and I fit PLENTY fine. 6’3 - 290lbs more muscular than a dad Bod, but by no means a body builder lol.

Now to ventrac. Will this cab fit my 4231 if I want to upgrade over the old metal one? And also what’s height to the top of the cab? That’s what attracted me to these machines is the old cab is 70” to top of cab which opens big ground of people in residential garage doors. ~80”
