How do the bluejays plan to replace Teoscar's bat? If they plan to replace it. Kiermaier is a good center fielder but his offense hasn't been up to par with Teoscar's. It was the same when Semien left. His infield replacement was Chapman, good defense but his offense isn't on par with what Semien had in 2021, and that offense was missed in my opinion. Is Michael Brantley the answer? I would like to see him in a bluejay uniform

die hard white sox fan here. i liked your guys video, but suggesting jansen for hendricks AND lopez is laughable. lopez was also dominant last year. you’re suggesting that the jays give the sox a backup catcher for our two best relievers.

You're not getting Lopez he's The Hendrix replacement.

if the Jays make a trade with the White what about trading Kirk instead of Jano, and asking for Hendriks and Lance Lynn? ive heard they are trying to move on from Lynn... I'd take him...even if he is a righty!

Ricky Tiedemann fir that 5th spot. Lefty the rotation needs and we already have him. Providing he pitches well in the spring and the minors if he starts the season there..
We need to get that bullpen bullet proof, so I rather we trade for relievers. Good ones

Kiermaier's major benefit is strong defense preventing runs. Perhaps moving Springer to RF will get George into 10-15 more games, helping the offense. People don't like Kiermaier's poor offense, but what will be different?
- Getting away from the Trop - On the road his average was 44 points higher and his OBP was 78 points higher.
- Removal of the shift - The shift hurts lefty batters who hit a lot of ground balls, which is what Kiermaier is.
- Being in a better lineup - In the Rays lineup, the two or three hitters behind Kiermaier usually had .160-.210 averages.
- More reps at the plate - Having consistent AB's help hitters perform better and be more consistent.
There are a lot of unpredictable variables involved, but getting out of the Trop, the removal of the shift, being given better pitches due to being in a much deeper lineup, and playing every day could conceivably get his offensive production close to that of Matt Chapman - the defensive wizard of the Jays infield. Kiermaier could essentially be the outfield version of Matt Chapman.

Kiermeyer sounds very confident. Hopefully he gets to full health. I love the player, he brings alot of experience. He will benefit training near him home at the Jays complex.

Give us Vladdy and we’ll give you Hendricks and Andrew Vaughn

Talking in previous videos about a lefty No 5 starter, how would you feel about signing Wade Miley to a 1-2yr deal? Should be cheap, lefty arm and very capable of filling that role, his numbers are solid and produces lots of ground balls for our defense

Hendricks contract is a big one? You must be joking. He’s got 2 yrs left st $29m, $14.5m AAV. That’s cheap for a top notch closer.

If you are looking for a trade that could make sense with the Sox they need a 2b. The Sox may do Jansen, biggio, and a minor league depth arm for crochet and hendriks. At least as a sod fan I’d do that

I think what Peter is true, you do need strikeout pitchers but it's hard to find ones that don't concede a ton of walks and don't concede the longball. Hendricks has a longball problem. I think getting a lefty from the DBacks would be a good idea, like Joe Mantiply or Nick Nelson.

Hendricks and Robert for Cavan Biggio, Jansen, and Kirk

I'd favour Gregory Soto fir lefty for ouit of the pen.
It'd be all righties with Romano, Swanson, Bass, Pop, Garcia, Hendricks.
Don't sleep on Pearson. If the Jays do believe he's healthy, Nate is an internal heat reliever.
If so, get Soto.
I'd rather have opposing managers be more concerned for matching up against lefty heat throwers rather than all right handed.

Maybe look at a trade like Jansen biggio/espinal and mitch white for hendriks and giolito. Hendriks has a hefty contract and giolito was pretty bad last year but very good I 21. The potential of our rotation would be just as high as the Yankees with rodon imo

I truly believe the Jays offense will be just fine without Teo. I think mgmt is trying to make the jays a more well rounded competitive team.
