For those who don't know this is a reference to when Muhammad Ali did an exhibition special rules match against a Japanese martial artist during his ban from boxing. During the match the Japanese fighter essentially just laid down and hit Muhammad with leg kicks the whole time, he couldn't do much damage to Muhammad but Muhammad also couldn't really hit him at all with his punches. Ended a draw.
