That call to prayer made me all calm even though I'm not a Muslim... felt some calmness in my heart

As a Pakistani, one of the countries from which migrant workers go to qatar for minimum wage i agree that qatari authorities exploited our workers, however by reading all these comments prodominantly from western people i see a very hypocritical stance as well. Same people doesn't seem to give a sh!t about these migrant workers when their countries bully these poor nations by interfering in our politics, assassinating our leaders or straight up bombing innocent people and if you resist against this tyranny you are labeled as uncivilized. Yes Qatari authorities did disgusting things but compared to what your so called civilized countries do to our countries is monsterous. You are outraged about this thing because your media told you so, not because you genuinely started caring about poor migrants workers just recently for the world cup. Go and ask these workers why they do what they do for 300$ a month and they'll tell you why, because of the lack of opportunities in their motherlands many of the times caused by indirect interference from the same civilized countries through sanctions, regime change, ban, assassinations and monopolies.

Drew, I respect that you try to let the negative side of so many things untold to convey that every place has its upsides but you cannot keep this up forever. You can't have this big of an outreach and yet ignore the facts that show just how bad people are getting treated by governments. You play right into their cards and by doing nothing to address it, you inactively support the picture they are trying to paint. Please think about how you can change your approach while still being positive and not harming your reputation/business. There has to be a better way than staying silent. 🖤

When you say Doha is safe, you just said it right. Damn! One of the things so hard to give up when planning to migrate to other country. I think the only unsafe hear is when crazy drivers thought they just came out of fast and the furious movie. I hope people will know more about Qatar.

As usual, thank you for covering the human rights aspects within the country you are visiting. Please do yourself and your viewers a more truthful service by including the 90% of the migrant population that are living in Qatar and make up the identity of the country. Those being exploited in the process of constructing infrastructure leading up to the World Cup deserve recognition!

Hamad must have studied in Ireland because you could definitely pick up that accent in his English. Also funny how the juice guy wanted no part of the video haha. Fun video though, dune bashing looks amazing. Wish I had more than a day in Qatar but I enjoyed my time in Doha
