I do have an overprotective brother and I have never been happier because the fair share of knowing that someone is looking out for you is great. my brother always does a background check on any guy that approaches me and I know how many times it has saved my life. I don't see anything wrong with what they did, they are just looking out for her, she should appreciate it. they mentioned that they were not allowed to date yet, which means they must have been told not to they are just trying to make sure she follows rule and focus on her studies instead.
