New Honda Amaze price starts at Rs 8 lakh | Walkaround | Autocar India

The all-new Honda Amaze compact sedan has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs. 8.00 lakh, going up to Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top-spec ZX trim. Gavin D'Souza tells you more.

Wow! 172mm ground clearance! The front is suvish! The back is city inspired. The amaze is a cross: a good escape from pseudo and hatchy SUVs. It's a no-nonsense and practical car with a good muscle....keep up the good job, Honda

Much better than Desire, at least for that 4 cyl engine IVTEC, CVT and paddle shifters for that price is awesome.

Sedans have a timeless appeal, even in compact formats, and they consistently deliver on comfort. The Indian market, especially the C-segment, could greatly benefit from a stronger presence of sedans.

Sunroofs are pointless. Honda has made this sub-4m sedan the best looking sedan ever in its segment. If I have to buy an affordable sedan, this would be it.

The Amaze was always a no nonsense reliable sedan made by Honda.. I've seen people hitting 2 Lakh km+ Milestone, and they still find it to be fresh and new ❤

Sunroofs are not of much use in most of our cities, so I guess it's not gonna be missed by many people. It's more fancy and less of practical value in daily usages.

Since Dzire has lost its 4cyl engine, this seems better. Looks wise I like both but this is better from back and this gets more useful features over the Dzire like Ada’s, partly digital customisable drivers display rather than a sunroof

New honda Amaze Looks beautiful N gorgeous... Cool.. Bulky and sporty.

I used Gen 1 Amaze during 2016 to 2023.(diesel model ), That was 4 star safety rated.

Now Its Global NCAP safety rating MUST be minimum 5 star. If a car like suzuki d'zire 2024 can score five star then, Honda five star rating of amaze is highly expected.

Honda must first send it for Global NCAP, after that booking must be opened. Still many people are repenting who booked Kia Seltos 3 years ago and got disappointed when it scored 3 star. This shouldn't be happen in case of amaze that holds logo of world wide well reputed car brand Honda.

If cost cutting required remove a few features but no compromise with build quality. People have no trust on Bharat NCAP, ANCAP. So made in India Amaze must achieve 5 star in Global NCAP.
