I was a passenger in a slower-speed rollover accident at age 21. Neither of us was hurt...well, it turns out I had a "minor" whiplash. I didn't seek treatment bc I was young and dumb and didn't want to get my boyfriend in "trouble". At the time it barely hurt, then a few weeks later it started bothering me more. In the ensuing 40+ years, my neck and shoulder have paid the price for not getting treatment right away.

Not to mention the pain of fixing the damage of that idiot hacker.

I flipped a 700 pound 4 wheeler a couple years ago. Crushed my chin into my sternum so hard it broke my sternum and chipped several teeth! Thank God it didn’t break my neck! Took almost a year to fully recover. Major whiplash! It was tough pouring concrete every day while going through that!

I had extremely bad whiplash at age 11. Unfortunatly it caused a large syrinx to form in my neck. Now Im 43, & I've been in tremendous pain ever since. Had a nerve transposition surgery in my most effected arm, but im still losing the use of it. Radiating pain, excruciating "suicide" headaches, among other issues that destroyed my quality of life since i was a little boy. Yes, whiplash can really destroy our lives. Be gentle with yourselves folks!!

Can yall do a full video on whiplash. Would like a In-depth video. I have suffered with many cases of whiplash from Multiple negligent drivers and a hit-and-run and would love to know what happens to the neck and the brain. When it happens on more than one occasion and it's been spread out in long periods of time. I'm sure the repercussions of multiple rear ends. Even though they have been spread out must do some kind of long-term Repercussions to the brain, the neck, The shoulders muscles legaments tendons as you get older.

A few years ago I had a friend, we were playing outside like usual, and she intentionally shoved me into the group and my neck lashed backwards, I ended up having whiplash from the incident, though my neck has healed well. Whiplash absolutely sucks and I was unable to move my neck for a very long time. To this day she has never apologized and is the fakest friend I’ve ever had.

I've had spinal cord compression twice. I had emergency surgery both times. TREMENDOUS NERVE PAIN. I have permanent damage in my hand, neck pain, headaches, and spasms. 😒

When i was 17, my ex boyfriend and i got in a minor car accident (literally going like 40 around a turn), i woke up the next morning, and i couldn't sit up. He came and took me to the dr, whiplash. Hurt for a while.

Had a c4/5, 5/6 fusion in 2012. He said I needed 6/7, but I was younger than he’d have liked to do 3 levels. Well, it’s not only worse, but (true to many cases) my 3/4 needs done, that 6/7, and also my c7/T1. Those levels above and below a fusion are just waiting to herniate. My shoulders burn, pain radiates to my elbows, (so I was treated for tennis elbow for a very long time), and I have chronic headaches. My range of motion is surprisingly good, but if I have to turn my head a lot, I pay for it with a bad flare up.
We won’t discuss my lumbar spine..

It herniated a cervical Disney that I ended up having surgery on.

How about a concussion with whiplash? Stopped at a light and the person behind used my brakes to stop rather than their own. I was a passenger and talking to the driver when wham. Month and half later still feeling lethargic the headaches are better with some outrageously priced medicine. Before I started I was experiencing lvl8 headaches and had to talk to someone to deal with them. Oh and my high blood pressure I've had for life has become precariously low blood pressure now. My neck and my shoulders are in a love hate relationship also.
