As 'Robbie Strike' (his channel 'The Happy Satellite nerd' is to tell) mentioned that he start to scan all the FTA (Free To Air) channel in his region Canada and North-America from West to East - to show us what we can receive with the FTA satellite. I will scan now in Europe the FTA channels from 15°West to 42°East that was maximum possible from my kitchen-window with a 80cm dish and a Inverto single 410 LNC. In this Video the Astra 19,2°East will scanned for FTA channels and some of them are found. Please subscribe and have fun to watch. Thank you for watching weakbit

BVN is known as Beste van de Vlaams en Nederlands. Basically a Dutch/Flemish TV channel showing TV shows, soaps and news that were hosted on Belgian Flemish TV and Netherlands TV. It's Free to air, usually showing old TV shows back in the time.

Highest dB most be on Astra 19.2E it's the most using satellite in Germany. I have 4 satellite dishes because of the elevation.
LNB1 - THOR 0.8W
LNB2 - ASTRA 28.2E
LNB3 - ASTRA 19.2E
LNB4 - HOTBIRD 13.0E
Most of the channels is still MPEG2 format for both Astra 1 and Astra 2. The only satellite here that broadcast in MPEG4 in SD is THOR 0.8W.
But Astra 1 have a huge distance beam.
My details
Faroe Islands
Thor 0.8W - Elevation 19.6
Astra 19.2E - Elevation 16.4
Astra 28.2E - Elevation 14.1
Hotbird 13.0E - Elevation 17.8
Dish sizes
Thor 0.8W - 90 cm nordic beam 14.9 dB in signal
Astra 19.2E - 80 cm 14.4 dB
Astra 28.2E - 70 cm 15.2 dB
Hotbird 13.0E - 75 cm 14.3 dB
Motorized dish is a problem her, it's because of the elevation i need to get it motorized with 2 Actuator mounted on a 120 cm Glasfiber dish.

80 cm in Canada is a lie, impossible. You would have told me 13 feet, ok, but 2 feet! The beams of this sat, as far as Iceland, are 4 feet.
In my opinion, you have to receive the German channels via the internet. Besides, you don't show us your satellite dish!
