This film touched my heart and my brain. I read a couple of reviews of it that totally missed the mark and the point of the movie. Maybe the reviews depend on the point of your life and the experiences you have endured. For me, the emotions seemed very real. At the same time, the humour in it was uplifting and wholesome given the circumstances. I don’t think I’ve ever admired Miriam Margoles more. Possibly I have misspelled her name, for which I apologize, but the sentiment was heartfelt. I can picture myself going through a diagnosis such as this and duelling with it but Ioved that Miriam’s character claimed she was “ the cancer who was fighting cancer”. Yet I absolutely agree with the belief and acceptance and decision of the main character. Brava, ladies, you gave hope, understanding and commitment to the viewers. ❤👏👍
