I just swapped to Linux. Microsoft takes adavantage of paying customers informatiom and makes it "harder" to update to Windows 11.

The more people use Linux, the more application devs will develop for the Linux OS.

I recommend a Linux similiar to windows so it won't be too much of a sudden change... One like Linux mint. Then you can check out his privacy guide for linux

I was surprised you did not mention using Windows from the EEA. It allows you to remove all the bloatware and uninstall Edge. Companies have to put people in the EU in separate files or face legal troubles. So, if they think you're from the EU, you get more privacy.

I thought we would see a method where you switch regions or something.

If your hardware and the application you use support linux, you should consider switch. If not, you have to live with windows. Anything you can do is reducing the amount of information have been sent to trackers.

I just tried 24h2 update and my pic would blue screen on start. I asked the manu and they state there is a compatibility issue with AMD. I had to reinstall everything, so do not use auto updates
