Makita TD022DSE 7. 2V Lithium Ion Cordless 1/ 4' Hex Impact Driver Kit

My new workhorse. If you're a service guy you're not building decks there's not much need for an 18v impact driver in your tool bag . There hasn't been a panel I couldn't open with this. Battery lasts longer than expected. Weighs almost nothing.
Everyone in our company has been using this hand impact driver for years. We got pretty panicked when it was no longer available in the states. Started buying tool only from Japan as a last resort.
Very happy that they are once again available as a complete kit in the states. There is nothing better that fits in your tool bag or pocket.
Makita may not be the cheapest but always a cut above the rest. I'm just one of the many that appreciates their quality.
This is NOT your run-of-the-mill cordless screwdriver. Works, feels, and even sounds like an impact wrench. More power than you can imagine in such a small package.
I own two. My first was the White Japanese version and I could not be more impressed. I bought this one as a backup because this one little tool that I never want to be without.
This is a great product. An impact driver at the size and weight of a regular power screwdriver. I use this for all my home jobs that require the use of a screwdriver.
Compared to a regular power screwdriver this provides much higher torque with less effort and its less likely to strip crew heads.
Also, the continuously variable speed is an advantage compared to other power screwdrivers which only have a single speed or maybe two speeds.
It provides good control and it can be used as a manual screwdriver for very delicate jobs or when you want to have exact torque control. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is the high price tag (currently $189.99).
I believe the construction cost of this product is much lower than that and the only reason for the high price is that there are no similar competing products out there.
I have the original version I bought over 10 years ago. It is compact and very powerful in my opinion. It is too powerful to be used as a screwdriver but instead for reaching for a heavier more powerful impact tool - this one often does the job well.
I have used it more and more over the years and it has become one of my favorite. The batteries are still perfect.
Excellent screw gun, works flawlessly! Great battery life, easy to use, very ergonomic design. I am a Home Inspector and use this screw gun every day.
I tried DeWalts version of a screw gun first, but it was extremely heavy, awkward to use and huge. This unit is the perfect size, well balanced easy to use and fairly light all while being heavy duty quality.
It is quite a bit more expensive, but in my opinion definitely worth the extra money. The included holster is quite handy. The charger and two battery packs included work quite well and last a long time.
This is my second Makita and I liked my old one and I like this one. It has proven to be a good tool for the work I do. Also it arrived real fast, very impressed with how quick it got here.
Im an hvac technician and I really appreciate this tool for its capabilities. Been using it over 1 year now.. Easy to hold and precise variable speed control.
Auto lock, makes it usable like a hand screwdriver in some situations requiring extra loosening/tightening torque. Tool is mostly used to remove panel screws from ac units and also for some appliance work.
Ive also used it on self drilling screws and it works ok, but not the best tool for drilling into metal. Battery life is extremely good, very rarely change batteries although I use it daily.
As a technician, this tool is an extremely essential part of my first responsder tools. Great job makita. For its category this tool is untouchable. Price was a little high but this thing is pure quality and actually works.
Use it every day, (HVAC ) Had the rocker style before and prefer it. I do like the vari-speed, I doo like having the drive control on both sides, would like to see a rocker trigger style and adjustable drive clutch.

Nice video! I just ordered the 7.2 impact driver and it will here tommorow. Im an maintenance tech at a national park.
I do a little bit of everything. Carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Construction. I'm very interested to see what it can and can't do, I'm going for the Milwaukee m18 fuel tool combo next for at home remodel use. Like to see another video if possible if not it's Kool Cheers
