Arno has two hidden blades?

Wether he has a second hidden blade or not, I personally like to think he has a second one hidden under his sleeve. Because most assassins with dual blades have the left blade as their main one and that’s the one that’s mainly focused on anyway.

Most of his assassinations are consistent with him not having two blades. I’m figuring that he hit that guy’s neck with such force that he had an instant heart attack.

I honestly prefer having just one hidden blade, I think it looks cooler and I wish the dual hidden blades was just an Ezio thing.

It’s not hard to think he has the second hidden blade hidden under his sleeve for more concealment, especially when the left hidden blade has to be expose more for the phantom blade to function. This is proven in syndicate when Jacob was shown to have another hidden blade as well, slicing the throat of one of his target with two hands. As to why we rarely see either of them use the second hidden blade more, it’s probably because it’s much easier to use with the left hidden blade more expose.

Remember, Arno is considered a new breed of assassin, deadlier than those before him, so killing two with one blade isn’t hard for him.


Additionally, in AC3, Connor also has a second hidden blade hidden under his sleeve, while the left hidden blade is exposed more to use the pivot blade function.

yes he does, in syndicate jacob has his assassin gauntlet with the hidden blade, grapple, etc, on his other hand he has another hidden blade under his sleeve, i think with arno it is the same thing, it wouldn't make sense the assassins stopped using dual hidden blades, i think that they are trained to use mainly their left hidden blade, it would explain why the left one is so fancy with a gauntlet and all, and with their right hand they would be trained to use swords and guns, but would still keep a small hidden blade in the right hand if needed, in syndicate, jacob's gauntlet in the left hand has a huge hidden blade, the one in the right hand under his sleeve is very short, he rarely uses it, that's what i think it is.

my head canon is that arno is so incredibly strong he can just snap their necks with only his palms

Maybe originally the devs intended Arno to have two but ended up cutting the second one and that animation might just be left over from that. I have no idea though

This is a buyable ability from what I know.
So recruits are always given the left one by default.
But since enemy guards/soldiers do the "buddy system" and patrol in pairs, a 2nd one for the other hand would be acquired later when reaching a higher rank.
So buddy guards can be killed instantly.

Makes sense because there is that low profile double assassination where he grabs the right enemy by the neck and doesn't really do anything to him, while he stabs the left guy in the throat.

He has 2 just like the twins its just stuffed up under the sleeve. why they didnt give more animations of him using both idk

Arno only has 1 hidden blade, but you can buy double assassination skill.

On the first assassination, he only used 1 hand to take down both enemies, the first one he do it by spinning and slashing his left hand across the neck of the target before he takes the second target by the back collar and stabbing his left arm straight onto his chest. The second assassination Arno stabbed the left guy's throat while he also gives pressure on the neck of the man's on the right

Jacob and Evie canonically has 2 hidden blades tho. they each used it on cutscenes and assassinations, as shown when Jacob and Evie both stabbed Starrick in the chest, Jacob used his right hidde nblade

Arno was supposed to have 2 hidden blades, you can see it in the trailer that he has a hidden blade on his right hand, but since ubisoft didn't made any hidden blade combat, they probably decided to use a single hidden blade instead.
