I was trying the same thing using bootstrap 3 list. I have the same style for fade trasition as mentioned by you but I am not getting the same behavior. Adding items working fine but deleting is not working. While deleting an element the last element is fading out instead of the active element. Any suggestion please, not sure what I am doing wrong.

Can't understand, why does your LI fadeout first and then array makes change. In my case array splices clicked element, and just after makes fadeout. So it looks like my item moves straight into the bottom of the list, and after fadesout... Wasted about 1 hour on it. Would like to get some help :)

How does it know what class to use? I don't understand how react knows the class name of what you wanna use? Did I miss something?

Really nice and teachful videos, but one thing bugs me. You get the articles wrong. For example: "a item", "a element" and so on. It seems like nobody told you that before, so here you go:

You use the article "a" before words that start with a consonant sound and "an" before words that start with a vowel sound. For example: He has a unique point of view on the subject and talked about it for an hour. The "u" in "unique" makes the "y" sound - a consonant sound - therefore you use "a" as your article, while the "h" in "hour" sounds like it starts with "ow" - a vowel sound.

crnk.
