This is true, America has committed some food crimes😂 That said, in reality, there are some amazing products too (and I’m an Italian myself), especially from California. Olive oil, cheese, wine…beautiful👌 Although I prefer what is made in Europe with regards to flavor as this is what I grew up on, the quality and the artisanal, handmade methods are the very same I have to say🤷🏻‍♂️

As an Italian born in Italy and as a naturalized American I must defend America on this one. Extra virgin olive oil from California is amazing as well as farm made cheeses across America.

To the fairness same items need to be compared. There is good olive oil from Cali and all sort of cheeses from Vermont.

Greek living in the US here..we have to be fair they do have very good options here as well..maybe not the oil ( no one competes the peloponesian olive oil) but for the cheese, there have very good options in the US as well ❤

California is part of America and so is Wisconsin. Tillamook is in Oregon which is still part of America and has some pretty damn good cheese! I live in Washington and there is a goat farm in my area! Goat's milk and goats cheese is really delicious.

I live in northern California and we have many excellent olive oils.
