Rafael Cerato - Step On The Lead

After multiple contributions to the Diynamic catalog, Rafael Cerato is now dropping his first full EP on the Hamburg imprint.
In the opening/title track „Step On The Lead“ Rafael puts the pedal to the metal and sets us curbside at a dance floor race track. We feel the bass groove like the noise and heat of engines, and the vocal brings excitement like a live commentator while the percussions are doing their laps.
„Alright“ is a bouncy melodic peak time tune with a dramatic crescendo-to-climax and a tongue-twisting UK-rap vocal.
„Bliss“ keeps the energy levels high, but adds a hint of otherworldliness to its Tech-House canvas by featuring an eerie female vocal with ghostly distortion.
And closing off the record is „Glory“, a cinematic 80s inspired dreamy Indie Dance track that wants to take you for a ride down the 8-bit boulevard.

When Steve Angello dropped this at Tomorrowland 2023 Freedom Stage, I couldn’t stop playing this record in his set, brings me back to the days of House music with groovy vocals and a groovy bassline like in 2003-2004 🔥
