Samba Ostinato Technical Workout Single Stroke Accents | Drums

Let's take the Samba ostinato thing a little bit further and learn to play accented single strokes, first on the snare and then adding toms. This is a brilliant way to develop coordinaton and soloing ideas. It's a lot of fun just playing around with this. It will help strengthen the feet and timing and hopefully open the way for some melodic, creative playing.
