When i started in computers, you needed to take a college class just to install a sound card. Most people don't appreciate how much plug n play, and Microsoft made building PCs and loading operating systems accessible to the masses.

hey zach. love your videos. putting together a 'puter and im considering buying the microcenter bundle with a 7700x, b650 motherboard, and 32 gb of ddr5. the only problem is the ram is cl36. is that going to be an issue, as opposed to cl32 or cl30 ram?

You can always ask a friend to build it for you they’ll normally be happy to help and wont charge especially if they like building pc’s

I’ve been slowly purchasing pc components for over 6 months now. I’m 17 and my lawn care business has been great this year! I got the CPU for the build for Christmas! I’m so close and so excited!

I went from the Ryzen 5 5600g integrated graphics to an Rx 6600 for 1080p gaming. Great upgrade for 200$ also frame generation is crazy good. Boosts fps by 2x in most games

My grandparents gave me a check for finishing ninth grade so I’m gonna use it to build my own gaming pc!! Your videos and build guides have been so helpful because I’m only spending $600 or less on it since I want to put the rest into savings.

I think seeing PC Building and PC Gaming as 2 separate hobbies is a very health take - I fear that a lot of people who enjoy both start to gatekeep Gamers out of the Gaming because they're not building - that's not good and hinders the growth of the community.

I started with an Omen 25l and just upgraded the RAM and got a new monitor for Christmas. This thing plays every game on my PC flawlessly. From RDR2 to Skyrim with 350 mods to Stardew to Cookie Clicker. It only came with 8GB of RAM so it was bottlenecking the build for a while and I'd crash playing both Skyrim and having Chrome open, but now I have 32GB and I can have every app open at the same time. Using Cinebench I only hit 62°C under load. It stays around 28°C when at idle. Best $1500 ever.

I have a GTX 1660 Super, Ryzen 5 3600X and Asus B550-Plus. I am also on a budget. What part can I upgrade to immediately see an improvement in FPS?
