Koola I know this could be too much to ask, but I'd really love if you'd make a side by side comparison of her jumps before and now, to see the improvements.

Funny I was never really much of a fan of hers but I‘ve started rooting for her. She really tries fixing her mistakes and she is so good in practice but somehow messes up during competition. Poor girl is under so much pressure. I wish her the best

I've been very critical of her in the past. I didn't like her skating at all but I found a new respect for her during the Olympics. I don't wish bad on her. It was hard to see her struggle. It took a lot of guts for her to leave Russia. I watched it live and it was obvious she was nervous. I don't think she is over the heartbreak of Zagitova beating her at the Olympics. It clearly broke her. I hope she can comeback in the long program.

She looked so good during practice on Friday. I mean amazingly good. It looked like she was selling the tango and the jazz more, her jumps were huge and I was loving it. During competition she just can’t put it together. Such a shame, not just about her scores, but people will use this to hate on her more. I already saw the Russian comments saying she got fat and she’s terrible now. I bet this makes them happy.

That lutz is still a flutz but at least the double axel is improved! I can't believe she got an edge call! At least she is trying to fix it though. I know these things take time.

more I watch and listen to this sailor moon theme, the more I wish that she actually performed to this song. It honestly fits fairly well. I would look forward to watching it actually.

I don't know about technical and I don't care because everything was wrong from the beginning, she looks like a beginner learning things all over again to make them right and it's shows how messed up she was .. anyway, I loved her performance, so energetic and controlled her face expressions. I can't see her mouth open a lot! thank god. The previous dress was more fitting with the music and flirty, if she just enhanced it a little bit would be better than this one .

She was amazing in practise, bless it must have been nerves. All these ungrateful people who only care about who coaches her, calling her a traitor and hating on her...I believe in constructive critisism and yes she still has bits to improve but holy crap the immature hate ive seen... Im AMAZED at how much she has improved in a short amount of time. People who only care about her bringing big scores, medals and her weight wont care about these improvements, they claim she has gotten worse just because her scores have taken a hit, you believe the judges!? Go and actually read the rules and you will see the improvements, dont use scores as a way to show a skaters improvements or downfall cause we all know ISU dont follow their own damn rules anymore...give her time people jesus...

She’s trying to improve and that’s all we can ask. It all looks way better. Flutz is a bit less than before and her overall skating looks easier and more in proper posture. I hope she continues to work with Orser

Now that she is doing what is right even if it makes her unpopular, it only makes her truly lovable 'cause she is doing what is right this time. I am proud of you Evgenia! God bless! :D :D :D

Evgenia skated the practice well but dropped the critical combination here. She has done these combos so often so perfectly in the past. Right there that's 10 points gone and the program is lost. If you look at the entire skate it's clear she is nervous. But why? She is vastly experienced, been to 2 Worlds and Olympics, etc. Sure she is facing the challenge of moving country and coach. But she had enough time to practice. She has Orser on her side. Why so nervous? I think there is more. It's called puberty. She is in the 18-20 period where her body changes drastically. Not only emotion, chemistry, etc, but she has grown tall quite a bit. I say about 2-3 inches compared to the last junior year. As all know such changes have caused all kinds of problems including ending career. Just check out Elizaveta Tuktamysheva who is No. 1 after this SP. A few years ago she was top, can do the 3A and won Worlds. Then she dropped like a stone during her 18-20 period. Only now at 21 she is able to recoup by just about relearning figure skating. I am afraid beloved Evgenia must go through the next 2 years struggling to grow up, lots of inconsistency. Until she find her form again by 21, just in time for the next Olympics.

poor girl is just trying to fix her technique by leaving an abusive coach and moving to another county. i can only imagine how much harder that is when you have barely any support from your country. the hate she gets is not needed at all. her lutz is still a flutz but her axel is way better.

Last year she got 10's for a program with a fall and now is getting 9's for a program with a serious error, we love immunity to the rules. 😑
And I don't really see how that was 3F<< and not a straight up 2F but whatever.
Queen of overscoring is back, looks like ACI was just an exception.
