Janelle Monae is a pescatarian- which means she eats a diet with a lot of fish. You can actually get mercury poisoning from eating too much of the wrong fish and this is what she claims to have. I explain here!

I guess "too much of something isn't good for you" literally applies to everything.

Thanks for sharing. I just found this lovely little fish market in the next town from where I stay. I planned on purchasing A few Kroger’s ’, Whiting and Red-snapper’s. I still may just do that. I’ll just eat them in moderation.

That's why I eat only fresh water fish from non contaminated inland lakes. I like to fish and catch em too. I will eat sardines and mackerels occasionally because tiny salt water fish have little mercury if any but they have a whopping amount of salt for preservatives.

I been a vegetarian for over 3 years now and I’m thinking about changing over to a pescatarian diet but the mercury thing is an issue for me. I wouldn’t be surprised if I got mercury poisoning with my bad luck.

I eat sardine can 3 or 4 times a week max, low salt versions and drink fine China tea & my type 2 diabetes is getting better every week. Think as well it prevents me from having a load of bad stuff.

There are definitely islanders and folks that live near the cost that don’t get mercury poison and never have. Where is she getting her fish from?

I'm a pescatarian kinda. Not because I'm health conscious. But because it takes less time to cook fish.

Only predatory fish have high levels of mercury.

Selenium helps detox the body from mercury, so nuts, broccoli and beans. If i ate red meat every day or fish every day. I think my health is better off with the fish.

👋🏽Hello Dr. Jen!💞

I stopped eating ALL seafood last year..😢

The oceans and seas are horribly contaminated with plastic pollution, deadly radiation, carcinogenic garbage and medical waste..

..The Pacific Ocean is "officially dead" from the Fukushima nuclear fallout catastrophe.

Everything is dying or has died thats swimming in that toxic, radiated water.
