How do you avoid the overlapping of the low opacity brushes when you are blocking in the colors?? (Also, I love your style of line art!)

how do you make a brush not overlap when you do a stroke above another? I hate the fact that it darkens the overlapped areas, while your brushes don't! thanks

I'm excited to see your Procreate brushes. I got your Clip Studio Paint brush mega brush set and those brushes are amazing!!! I'd definitely try these when I eventually cave and get an iPad for my art.

Hi Eric! Thanks a lot for these in-depth videos. For us beginners they mean a lot. Wanted to ask you something. Do you use 1 layer for shadows and another for lights? Or you can stack several shadow and light layers? On the other hand, do you always put the shadow stack (in case you use more than one layer for shadows) below the light stack?

Can someone please explain to me, why does clipping mask drastically lighten the actual colour that is being painted down on the canvas? For example, I pick a vivid red but it's coming out washed out.
