Great part of the world- I lived in Xifeng in Qingyang city (about 8 hours south of Lanzhou, still in Gansu) for a year. Just a small backwater but with great people and some killer food! I'll never forget the Dongbei restaurant I called 'home' for the year, the sweetest owners who even busted their gut to translate the menu into English! And the small mum n pop jiaozi joint across the road from the college I worked at. Amazing jiaozi made with love!
