Great video. Question why was there such an interest in 3 order polynomial. The second was motivated by knowledge of ballistics for warfare.
Small remark the gl in Italian is silent. So Tartaglia is spoken as Tartaia. 
The Italian pasta Tagliatelle is spoken as: Taiatelle. This means literally small cuts, it comes from Latin: taiare, which means to cut)
